Other nearby establishments include Fiesta Fun Family Fun Center, the Rosenbrunch Wildlife Museum, and Thunder Junction All Abilities Park.
Restaurants in the area include Black Bear Diner, Jimmy John’s, Chick-Fil-A, Pizza and Pasta Factory, and George’s Corner Cafe.
What your kids will love:
This hotel has an outdoor pool, including a children’s pool. The pool is heated and open year-round, so you can enjoy the water during any season.
The hotel also offers packages for Tuacahn, St. George’s outdoor amphitheater. Tuacahn shows broadway musicals and other performances throughout the year. The amphitheater is located just below Snow Canyon State Park, so kids and adults alike can enjoy shows while taking in the natural beauty of the area.
Room options:
The Best Western Plus Abbey Inn offers kid-friendly rooms with both queen- and king-sized beds. Sofa beds and cribs are available, as are adjoining rooms. Two-bedroom suites are another family-friendly option.

Spring Hill Suites by Marriott St. George/Washington

The Spring Hill Suites by Marriott is a relatively new kid-friendly hotel in the St. George area. Located in Washington City, the hotel offers convenient access to golf courses, hiking trails, shopping, entertainment, and food. From the parking lot, it is less than 5 minutes from the I-15 freeway.
The hotel offers complementary breakfast, an outdoor fire pit, an electric car charging station, and a 24-hour gym. The outdoor patio sits right next to hole #12 on Green Springs Golf Course. Gorgeous views of nearby Pine Valley Mountain are available in north-facing rooms.
What your kids will love:
This Spring Hill Suites is a St. George hotel with an outdoor pool and free cabanas and sun loungers. Nearby kid-friendy attractions include several city parks, a movie theater, the Red Cliffs Mall, and a rock climbing gym. Numerous restaurants like McDonald’s, In-N-Out Burger, Texas Road House, and Riggatti’s Pizza are within 1 mile of the hotel.
Room options:
The Spring Hill’s family-friendly room options include both king and queen suites. They offer trundle beds for families larger than 4 people. These rooms sleep 6 people total. One crib or pack-and-play is permitted in each room upon request.
Additionally, you can request to stay on a higher or lower floor, or near the elevator.
Staybridge Suites St. George

The Staybridge Suites Hotel is another great option for family lodging in St. George. It’s located just off I-15 for easy freeway access at any time. Amenities include complimentary daily breakfast, free appetizers and drinks on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings, a 24/7 fitness center and on-site laundry facilities.
The Staybridge is near the Virgin River bike path–you and your family can walk, run, bike, or scooter for miles in either direction. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area.
The hotel is pet friendly for an additional fee.
What your kids will love:
The Staybridge Suites Hotel has an outdoor swimming pool that is open from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. The in-room TVs include both satellite channels and Netflix.
There are several city parks and arcades nearby. Fiesta Fun Family Fun Center, less than two miles away, offers arcade games, go-karts, bowling, mini-golf, and bumper boats. Also nearby is Laser Mania, a venue for laser tag, blacklight mini golf, and arcade games.

The hotel offers rooms that sleep from 4-8 people. Rooms with sofa beds are available, as are one- and two-bedroom suites. The suites have full kitchens.

Hyatt Place St. George–Convention Center

The Hyatt Place is a wonderful St. George stay for families. With complimentary breakfast, an on-site restaurant and market, and a 24/7 computer center, you’ll have all your needs met in one place.
There are dozens of restaurants in the area, with food options like Italian, Thai, and Mexican cuisine. If you’re feeling fancy, the Cliffside Restaurant is only 3 miles away and offers incredible views of the city (though it’s on the pricy side).
Also nearby is the St. George MotoCross Park, a 20-acre area with dirtbike and mountain bike jumps.
What your kids will love:
The Hyatt features an outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub. Other fun nearby attractions include the St. George Children’s Museum and the Dinosaur Discovery Museum.
If your kids love the outdoors, Pioneer Park and the Red Hills Desert Garden are about 5 miles from the hotel. They offer hiking trails, picnic tables, and educational opportunities.

The Sand Hollow Resort boasts outdoor pools, pickleball courts, and sand volleyball courts. Sand Hollow State Park is nearby, offering opportunities for swimming, boating, kayaking, cliff jumping, and more. It’s also about 30 minutes away from Zion National Park.
Room options:
Many of the vacation rentals can sleep up to 8 people (some sleep more). They each have full kitchens, on-site laundry, barbecue grills, wi-fi, and free parking. Guests also have access to the resort’s fitness center.
Las Palmas Resort

If you’re looking for a great St. George vacation rental, Las Palmas may be a great fit. This resort features amenities like a gym, pools, and hot tubs. Many of the condos offer gorgeous mountain views, thanks to the resort’s ideal location on a hillside in western St. George.
What your kids will love:
This resort includes access to six pools (indoor pool, waterslide pool, lap pool, kids pool, and more), four hot tubs, basketball and pickleball courts, and three playgrounds. The kids will never run out of activities to keep them busy.
Nearby, you’ll find a trampoline park, city parks, golf courses, an outdoor climbing area, and Sand Hollow Aquatic Center.
