Red Cliffs Lodge offers a rustic atmosphere that perfectly represents southeastern Utah. Staying here is more of an experience than at a typical hotel and it’s a place you’ll want to hang out at and relax and let the kids have fun. Wheter you want to stay and take the family horseback riding, or you just check out the Cowboy Museum after a day of exploring, this lodge is packed with family friendly activities.

While we really love this newer hotel, the pool is the main draw. It’s absolutely amazing and this is usually one of the first hotels in Moab to sell out during busy times. The Springhill Suites in Moab is also the nearest hotel to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, making the location so convenient for families visiting Utah National Parks. Make sure to hike to Delicate Arch while you are close.
Each room at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Moab is also around 25% bigger than standard hotel rooms, providing plenty of space for the entire family and can sleep 6 people! Each room’s TVs are equipped with streaming services and have microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffee machines for your daily cup of coffee. If you’re looking for a budget friendly hotel in Moab, the Expedition Lodge is our top recommendation. We’ve stayed here numerous times and while it isn’t fancy, it’s clean and affordable.
Of course, the top highlight for the kids is the waterslide going into the pool. Whenever we stay there, we’re at the pool until it closes with the kids making laps on the waterslide. When the kids aren’t swimming, they’ll love the game room with arcade games and a ping ping table. This alone makes it worth the stay. The free breakfast is good, and best of all, the staff are very friendly.
In the rooms, there are king rooms, other rooms with 2 queen beds and our favorite is the room with a queen bed and a queen bunk bed that sleeps 4. These rooms are a great way to sleep a big family for cheap in Moab.

It is wonderfully positioned in the center of downtown Moab and is one of the best hotels in Moab for families who love to explore. From the hotel’s ideal location, you can easily explore Arches National Park, the Colorado River, and Dead Horse Point State Park.

The suite is our favorite since it’s more upgraded than some of the other rooms and has tons of space. There is a King bed master room with it’s own bathroom, another bedroom with 2 queen beds and a bathroom, and a living room with a pull out sofa, kitchenette, and a dining table. This is always our first pick for large family rooms in Moab.
The kids can enjoy free breakfast to start your day and let me tell you, the pancake maker is such a hit, making this one of the best kid-friendly hotels in Moab. But here’s the real treat for the kids: This place is one of the top Moab hotels with a pool! It’s really just a regular pool with nothing fancy, but our kids never seem to care, and I love that I can unwind and watch the older kids play while I soak in the hot tub.

This luxury Moab hotel also offers mountain and city views, as well as premium facilities to keep the family comfortable throughout your stay. Guest rooms have one king or two queen beds that can sleep up to 4 people, while suites are significantly larger, with one-bedroom arrangements and can sleep 6 people. You can also rent a crib for an additional charge.
During your stay, you will surely love the free parking, big accommodations for the entire family, and fully equipped on-site fitness facility (though we really recommend just hiking or mountain biking instead of hitting the gym here).
