About Adventure Heights All Abilities Park
Adventure Heights is a massive park and playground area, tucked right into Spanish Fork. It opened in 2021, and has been a major hit ever since. The park is MASSIVE, so while it does attract a large amount of visitors, the layout does a fantastic job of spreading kids out, so that everyone has plenty of space to play.
Adventure Heights is an all-abilities park, which means that it was created with accessibility features that make it so much easier for kids with mobility or even sensory issues to play there. The park was created specifically with families with special needs children in mind so that they could have a great facility that would meet the needs of their entire family. The park boasts innovative features like ADA-compliant ramps seamlessly integrated throughout, metal slides specially designed for children with cochlear implants, and ziplines with convenient pull-down harnesses.
Another feature that we love about Adventure Heights Park is that there is just one entrance and exit, and the entire park is gated. As a parent, I love this feature so much because it give me peace of mind when trying to keep track of my kids and all of their friends.
Where is Adventure Heights Park Located?

There’s a good sized parking lot right next to the park, making it easy to load and unload kids and gear. Even on busy weekends, we’ve never had a problem finding a place to park here.
What Makes Adventure Heights Park Great?
From the moment you walk into Adventure Heights Park, the kids are going to be having a BLAST! The first time we went there, my kids were running nonstop from one area to the next, because there were so many fun things to do. While the park is technically an all-abilities park, most kids would never even realize that, because it’s packed so full of fun things to do (but that families with special needs would immediately recognize). There is a sensory area, music area, swings, ziplines, covered pavilion, slides, reflex games, and an incredible splash pad. The playground equipment is modern and safe, with a variety of slides, climbing structures, and imaginative play zones that cater to different interests and abilities. The park also has beautifully maintained picnic areas and large grassy fields, perfect for a family outing or a spontaneous game of soccer.
Playgrounds at Adventure Heights
The playgrounds at Adventure Heights are divided into different sections, each tailored to various age groups and abilities. Kids can have a mellow play time, or join in on the giant play area where kids were climbing and running their little hearts out. There are areas with soft rubber flooring to cushion falls, and plenty of shaded spots to keep kids cool and for parents to relax at while the kids play. Whether your child loves climbing, sliding, or simply exploring, there’s something here for everyone.
Here are some of our favorite areas at Adventure Heights Park:
Splash Pad at Adventure Heights Spanish Fork Park
The splash pad at Adventure Heights is probably the best in Utah County. In fact, it’s one of the better splash pads in all of Utah. It’s really giant, and we love that like the rest of the park, it’s split into different sections. There’s a waterfall/cave area, a stear, a little kids splash areas, and even several water tables set up for kids to play in.
Alongside the splash pad, there are lots of benches and tables to hang out at, and there’s plenty of space for kids to run around, and there are some big slides and a climbing area right next to the splash pad. Usually my kids only want to play at a splash pad for 30-40 minutes, but they spent well over an hour playing in this area, which shocked me. There really is a ton to do, so it’s great for all ages!
What Are The Hours Of Adventure Heights Park?
Adventure Heights Park is open from 9 am until dusk from March 1st to November 30. The park is closed during the winter. The park is the least crowded right when it opens up, but during the summer there is also a good lul around 3 pm, when a lot of families with younger kids have gone home. It’s also a great spot for a family picnic in the evening since it’s also not very crowded in the evening.
Best Ages For Adventure Heights Park
This park is perfect for kids of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers. We took kids ranging from ages 5-14, and they have all loved it, and I know that my friends with toddlers love the park just as much as we do. I feel that most playgrounds and parks only really entertain my kids until about age 10-11, but our teens actually LOVE playing here (and it’s so good for them to relax and act like KIDS).
While many parks struggle to cater to a wide age range, Adventure Heights does a great job because the park is split up into chunks focused on different activities. What that means is that you don’t have to worry much about big teenagers barreling over your toddlers because they both really have their own space to play, which makes things much simpler.
Facilities at Adventure Heights Park
Adventure Heights Park is well-equipped with restrooms, pavilions, and large fields. You’ll find clean restrooms centrally located between the playgrounds and the splash pads. There are multiple pavilions for picnics or parties and if you’re interested in reserving a pavilion, you can find the necessary information here. We also love that there are drinking fountains next to the restrooms to help keep kids hydrated!
Best Time Of Year To Visit Adventure Heights Park
While Adventure Heights is a great park, it is only open from March 1 until November 30, being closed in the winter. If you’re looking to play in the splash pad, a summer visit is the time to go. Spring and fall temperatures are a bit cooler, and mean much smaller crowds, so that’s also amazing! Truthfully, the park’s beautiful landscaping and ample shade make it a pleasant place to relax and play any time of year.
